daughter's private middle school
experience did not adequately
prepare her to do well on the
new SAT. This was demonstrated
by her poor test results on her
first PSAT. Her percentile
reported at 78, with a selection
index of 170. After taking both
the reading and writing classes
with Mary Margaret, my
daughter's scores increased
dramatically, to a percentile of
91, with a selection index of
189. That score put her on the
list for colleges to begin to
recruit her. As she was taking
the class with Ms. Hunt, my
daughter said, "This is exactly
